THIS COMET HASN’T BEEN AROUND SINCE 4,000BCE

There’s a comet headed to our neck of the solar system.

 

It will arrive towards the end of this month.

 

But it will be it’s closest on May 23rd.

 

At that point, it may be even brighter than Venus in the sky.

The last time star gazers had this much luck was back in 1997, with the Hale-Bopp comet.

 

The last time this comet was this close to Earth was in about 4,000 BCE. 

 

Historically, comets freak folks out. They were often perceived as Ill Omens.
