Dear eMBers,
Your Morning Bullets are here. Let’s dig in.
INVESTOR INSIGHTS – Market Update
Phase One of the US-China Trade Agreement is in the books.
And it’s missing a Goldilocks consensus.
Some think it’s too strong. Some think it’s too weak.
Hardly anyone thinks it’s “just right.”
But it’s enough to fuel investor optimism.
Heading into Monday morning, index futures are looking positive.
The DJIA is up 50 points. The S&P and Nasdaq are also looking for a perky open.
Those numbers would be even higher, but one stock’s bad news is bringing it down for everyone.
Find out which stock that is and what economic data is set for release today.

YOUR SILICON VALLEY (LIBERAL) OVERLORDS
Is healthcare looking for help in all of the wrong places?
Forbes thinks so.
Over this past year, tech giants like Google and Apple have announced plans to “disrupt” the healthcare industry. It’s an industry worth about $3.6 trillion.
Tim Cook isn’t playing down the move at all.
“There will be a day we look back and say Apple’s greatest contribution to mankind has been in healthcare.”
Google Cloud’s CEO is equally optimistic.
“We can transform healthcare and improve lives.”
But Forbes disagrees. And shares three reasons why the ventures could be doomed to fail.
One of the biggest issues is that consumer preferences are vastly different than medical needs.
Healthcare goes far beyond integrating wearable technology. And even that is a lot like the annual adoption and abandonment of New Year’s Resolutions.
Find out the other two reasons why this could get very messy.

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
Trump wasn’t pleased when Fox News brought two guests on the air this Sunday.
And those two guests were the infamous puppet masters of the impeachment.
James Comey and Adam Schiff.
Fox News has always been committed to being fair and balanced.
Even when dealing with unfair and unbalanced people.
Here’s Chris Wallace’s interview with James Comey:
And here’s his interview with Adam Schiff:
Even though Pelosi and House Democrats hate Trump and want him out of the White House…
Some now believe it’s all part of a strategic plan to sway the 2020 Election.
And if one expert is correct, their plan could ultimately help this “radical woman” become the next President.
If she wins, she’ll take away our freedoms and destroy our economy.
So if you were put off by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign… or couldn’t believe how popular Bernie Sanders’ socialist platform was – just wait.
This 2020 candidate will “out-liberal” anything you’ve ever seen.
A new, incredibly powerful hidden force will practically guarantee that she wins.
And the steps she’ll take during her first 100 days in office will send our nation into one of the worst financial crises in history… creating a nightmare for Baby Boomers.

When it comes to Trump wins, there’s one guy we can’t overlook.
And that guy is U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer.
He just delivered Trump a Trifecta of Wins for the Trade Agenda.
And he’s not shy about recognizing that fact.
“Friday was probably the most momentous day in trade history, ever.”
Those were his words on Sunday’s “Face the Nation.”
You’ve probably heard all about the first of the two big wins.
NAFTA has been revised and re-released as USMCA.
We reached a solid agreement in the partial trade deal with China.
But what about the third big win?
Are you familiar with that?

CRAZY-INTERESTING OR RIDICULOUSLY-WEIRD
The 12 Days of Christmas is the 99 Bottles of Beer on the wall of carols.
But have you ever really thought about what all of those gifts would cost?
The price (in today’s values) might just surprise you.
But maybe not more than the fact that there’s someone out there tracking it.
Source: PNC Christmas Price Index
It’s called the PNC Christmas Price Index.
For the past 36 years, they’ve calculated the prices of the twelve gifts.
It’s part of a long tradition that makes “learning about the economy fun.”
Can you believe the price tag? It’s kind of staggering…
It must be true love!
Crazy or Weird?
