I still don’t get how the Left misses all of the irony they keep spilling everywhere.

Like this one, where they made a comment that sounds eerily reminiscent of something President Trump said long ago in Charlotte. And they gave him Hell for it!

As ABC tried to explain in a Tweet, “Several deaths have been connected to protests, but the story is more complicated.”

So, now, it’s just complicated.

And Kamala is “so proud” of a rapist.

Sorry Tesla, No S&P 500 For You!

Well, the S&P 500 just rained on Tesla’s Labor Day Parade.

As it turns out, the company won’t be joining the S&P 500. At least not yet, anyways.

Tesla (TSLA) has been excluded from the latest S&P 500 reshuffle despite being worth 9 times more than all 3 new companies being included in the index combined.

Over the last few months, Tesla has been rumored to be included in the S&P after it achieved the requirements for eligibility.

It’s Not Every Day You Get A Second Chance Like This…

This weekend isn’t just going to be a long weekend in California, it’s also going to be a scorcher.

In anticipation, Governor Gavin Newsom has issued an emergency proclamation that has a goal of trying to “shore up” the energy capacity and avoid the power outages and blackouts we’ve seen so far this year.

The declaration was issued Thursday, as some major utilities warn that the one-two-punch of sweltering conditions and increased energy demand could stress the power grid to its limit, potentially resulting in outages.

5 Things To Know Before The Stock Market Opens Today…

Despite the writing on the wall, yesterday’s stock market plunge caught a lot of investors by surprise.

We talked yesterday about why this pull back is actually a good thing – but how long is it going to last?

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures look like it will  make back about 100 points of Thursday’s 807 point, or 2.8%, rout ahead of the government’s August employment report.

The tech-led reversal weighed even heavier on the S&P 500, which lost 3.5%, and the Nasdaq, which lost a whopping 5%.

S&P and Nasdaq futures were under continued pressure Friday.

As bad as Thursday’s sell-off was it did come after a powerful summer rally that had sent the S&P 500 and Nasdaq to multiple record highs and the Dow to about 3% away from its record high on Feb. 12.

So what can we expect to happen as we head into the long weekend?

5 Things To Know Before The Stock Market Opens Today…

After a stellar trading day on Wednesday, this morning, stocks are lower as they await the release of some new economic data.

This week’s weekly jobless claims premiered at 8:30 a.m. ET on Thursday morning (about 30 minutes after I’m writing this.)

Economists are looking for 950,000 new filings for unemployment benefits.

However, there’s no use comparing that directly to last week’s 1 million claims.

Why not?

Because now the Labor Department has changed how it handles the seasonal adjustment of the data.

And that change goes into play this week.

There are still four other things you need to know to start your trading day, but I found ANOTHER two stories I thought you should know about.

This one about this year’s IPO action and this one about the risk of something scary – a potential “Minsky Moment.“

If you thought you were having a bad day on Tuesday, it could have been worse…

Just take a look at the havoc wrecked by one trader with a “fat finger” mistake.

“Fat finger” refers to errors made while typing. But this one wasn’t a simple grammatical mistake that Grammarly didn’t catch but your boss did.

The chairman of Chinese electronics company TCL Technology Group said Tuesday a trader erroneously sold 5 million shares from his account in a classic fat-finger mistake.

The shares were sold at 1:03 pm on Tuesday. 2 hours later, Li had to buy them back. Li said he will donate $44,000 back to the company.

The fat finger episode comes alongside the company’s stock surging in recent days. The stock is up 27% in the last month.
