The stock market closed lower yesterday.
Why?
Because the U.S. Commerce Department blacklisted Huawei (Chinese tech giant) last week.
And big chipmakers are putting the brakes on doing business with them.
What’s the impact?
According to Evercore estimate, Huawei buys $20 billion of semiconductors each year…
And that’s a lot…
I promised a kind of “funny” China trade headline yesterday.
It’s my attempt to balance the stream of negative news.

I think 5G is a great investment opportunity.
It will transform the way we learn, communicate and travel.
Self-driving cars, virtual reality, internet of things… it will all be possible.
Sounds great, right?
Well… it might not be all sunshine and rainbows.
And there could be some health risks.
We know 5G cell towers will be much smaller and much closer together.
And the more cell towers, the more potential for radiation.
Scientific evidence suggests electromagnetic radiation is not good for us.
Yet no studies have been done on the health effects of the new 5G technology.
Are we at risk?
